Tire Discounters Expansion Continues in Tennessee

Family owned and operated Tire Discounters, a leading American tire and automotive services company, announced today that they plan to open several new locations in the greater Chattanooga region in the coming months.

Outlets in Hixson, Brainerd and Fort Oglethorpe are expected to open this fall with additional locations being added by the end of 2015.

Tire Discounters built the business on providing its customers with complimentary services that are designed to extend the life of tires and improve overall performance. These services include:

• Free alignment with any new tire purchase (1, 2, 3 or 4).  An alignment provides safer handling, longer lasting tires and improved gas mileage.
• Free Lifetime Tire Maintenance Package (includes lifetime rotation, balancing, and valve stems), and
• Nitrogen inflation (the first in our industry to offer this).

In addition, most name brand tires and value-based tires are available, ensuring a variety of prices for a range of budgets.

Tire Discounters recently opened a second distribution center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in the Greater Nashville area, helping the company better service its stores and customers in the area.

"Based on the great success we have had in Nashville over the past year and the growth in Chattanooga, we think this will be a strong market for us," said Tire Discounters CEO Paul Brunner. "We'd love to have eight or nine locations in the Chattanooga market, however, our focus is not on just trying to be the biggest. Rather, we want to make sure we get the right people in place and build our business on world-class customer service."

Tire Discounters now has over 1000 employees, nearly 100 stores and will soon have a presence in seven major cities. The company expects to have approximately 60 jobs in Chattanooga created by the end of 2015.
