Tire Discounters Opens New Tire Stores in Nashville and Gives Back to the Local Community

It’s been a busy summer for Tire Discounters, and we can’t wait to share some of the exciting things that we have been up to during the summer months.

During July, Tire Discounters ran a month-long “reTire Your Kicks” promotion across 90 locations – including three new Tire Discounters Nashville stores in Mt. Juliet, Brentwood and Smyrna -- to collect shoes to help a Nashville-based nonprofit, Soles 4 Souls.  We offered a discount for new tires for each pair of new or gently used shoes donated, and the results were amazing!  Thanks to our customers, Tire Discounters Founder and Chairman Chip Wood was able to deliver 19,319 pairs of shoes and $10,000 for charity during the grand opening of our newest Nashville store in Mt. Juliet.  What better way to give back to the local community and thank Nashville for the warm welcome?

Not only have we been serving our amazing customers with the best tire deals available, but we also launched our new Nashville tire stores with a brand new store design called “The Store of the Future.” As the name suggests, the new store is beyond anything you might conjure up in your wildest dreams. The Store of the Future offers phenomenal features like complimentary Wi-Fi, a refreshment bar, varied television programming and a child’s play area to create a welcoming, customer-centered environment while you wait for an oil change, new tires or auto repair.

The store design enhances comfort, transparency and efficiency through these and other features, and the store construction sets industry standards for use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient technology, including energy-efficient glass, use of recycled rubber materials in flooring and landscaping, LED lighting and light-reflecting roofing, state-of-the-art energy-efficient air compressors and Rotary Shock Waves lifts.

How did we pack so much goodness into a single store design? We hired a team of absolute experts and asked them to THINK OF EVERYTHING! And they did. The new design features windows with a bluish tint for UV protection to keep the store feeling nice and cool, and even a built-in overhang above the door to keep you from getting soaked in case it is raining.  What could be better?

This is just the beginning of our expansion in Tennessee.  Tire Discounters plans to open 16 greater Nashville locations by December 2015, creating more than 200 jobs in the Nashville area by 2016.  If you’re in the Nashville area, next time you’re looking for an oil change, new tires or auto repair shops, stop by for a visit at our Mt. Juliet, Brentwood or Smyrna stores to check out the amazing features of The Store of the Future!
