Oestreicher Named to 2017 Forty Under 40 Awards

The Cincinnati Business Courier has named Robert Oestreicher, Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Chief Legal Officer to its 2017 Forty Under 40 Awards.

Bob joined Tire Discounters in October 2012 as Vice President and General Counsel, and in May 2016 he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Legal Officer. Bob is a member of the Executive Leadership Team for Tire Discounters and has played an instrumental role in leading the both the legal and real-estate teams in achieving significant growth for the company during his tenure.

Founder and CEO Chip Wood describes one of Bob’s key attributes is being a mentor/coach at TD that is helping cultivate future leaders. Wood explains “People on Bob’s team love working with him, not just because of his vision and expertise, but also because of his ability to teach, train and grow”.  “When I look at the criteria for awarding this honor, no one I know is more deserving than Bob”.

Outside of his dedication to the Tire Discounters team, Bob is committed to making greater Cincinnati a better place. He is involved in a variety of nonprofits to create positive change for those around him. He currently volunteers at the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, Easter Seals TriState, JVS Career Services, and the Jewish Community Relations Council.

Previous organizations that Bob has volunteered and worked with include Dan Beard Council’s Professional Leadership Network, MLB All Star Game Community Organizing Committee, Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Leadership Cincinnati Program Class 39 and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s C-Change Leadership Development Program Class 6.
